The Garmin Alpha 300 can track and train up to 20 dogs simultaneously. The TT 25 is the collar that makes that possible — each additional dog in your pack needs its own. This listing is for the collar only; it requires a compatible Alpha or PRO 550 Plus handheld to operate.

The TT 25 combines GPS tracking and e-collar training in a single slim, universally sized collar that fits both large and small breeds without modification. Top-mounted GPS and Galileo receivers give it better satellite acquisition than side-mounted designs — meaningful when dogs are running heavy timber or rolling terrain. Position updates reach the handheld as frequently as every 2.5 seconds, with a tracking range up to 9 miles. Dynamic tracking mode adjusts the update rate automatically based on the dog’s movement, stretching battery life significantly when the dog is on point or kenneled.

E-collar capability

When paired with a compatible Alpha or PRO 550 Plus handheld, the TT 25 delivers 18 levels of continuous or momentary stimulation plus tone and vibration — the full training toolkit from a single collar. The multicolor LED beacon can be set to seven colors (yellow, magenta, cyan, white, green, red, or blue) and activated remotely from the handheld for low-light identification. With multiple dogs running, different LED colors let you locate each dog at a glance without pulling out the handheld.

Battery and maintenance

Battery packs are user-replaceable and easy to swap in the field. The standard pack (included) delivers up to 68 hours with dynamic tracking. The optional extended battery pack pushes that to 136 hours — most of a week of full hunting days without recharging. When the collar is on the charger and connected to your home Wi-Fi, it pulls firmware updates automatically via Garmin Express, so you’re not hunting on stale software. The flex band is also user-replaceable if it takes damage or wears out.

Compatible handhelds: The TT 25 works with the Alpha 10, Alpha 100, Alpha 200, Alpha 200i, Alpha 300, Alpha 300i, PRO 550 Plus, and Astro 430. If you’re using an Astro 430, the collar functions in track-only mode — training features require an Alpha or PRO 550 Plus handheld.
