Find a break in your underground fence boundary wire without digging up the whole yard
A single break anywhere in the boundary wire loop will take your entire underground fence offline. Without a locator, finding it means either walking the full perimeter looking for obvious damage or digging at random until you hit the break — which can mean hours of work on a large property. The Wire Break Locator eliminates that. You disconnect your transmitter, connect the locator transmitter in its place, then walk the boundary with the receiver wand. Audible tones and dual LED lights indicate signal strength. When you cross the break, the signal drops and the tones change, telling you exactly where to dig.
The receiver has an expandable handle for comfort on longer perimeters and adjustable volume to help you zero in on the precise break location. Compatible with any in-ground fence system — not just PetSafe. One important limitation: the locator detects complete wire breaks only. Partial breaks or damaged insulation where the wire is still conducting will not register.
