Standard underground fence receiver collars are built for dogs 8 lbs. and up with average to large neck sizes. The Comfort-Fit Little Dog Fence is the system for dogs that fall below that — toy breeds, small-breed mixes, and any dog with a neck too small to fit a standard receiver collar comfortably. The collar receiver is purpose-built for small dogs: 2.25” x 1” x 1”, 2.8 oz., molded directly onto a reflective collar strap that adjusts from 6 to 16 inches. There is no swapping receivers onto other straps — the receiver and strap are one unit, which keeps the profile low and the fit secure on a small neck.

The system works like any underground fence: you bury the wire along the boundary you define, the transmitter sends a signal through the loop, and the collar detects when your dog approaches the edge. Your dog gets a warning beep first. If he continues past the boundary, the collar delivers a static correction. Four adjustable correction levels plus a tone-only mode let you find the right setting for your dog’s temperament. The system includes 500 feet of wire covering up to ⅓ acre and is expandable to 25 acres with additional wire.
