See your dog in the dark — without GPS

The SportDOG Locator Beacon is a simple, lightweight safety light that attaches to your dog’s collar and makes them visible in low-light conditions. No pairing, no app, no subscription — press the button once for solid light, press again for flashing, press a third time to turn it off. Two CR2032 batteries (included) deliver up to 250 hours of runtime. At under an ounce it adds no meaningful weight to the collar.

It’s particularly useful for hound hunters running dogs at dusk or dawn, upland hunters finishing a late-day hunt, or anyone walking dogs in low-light conditions near roads or trails. Available in four colors so you can tell dogs apart in a multi-dog pack at a glance.

Two attachment options

The Locator Beacon includes a carabiner clip that snaps onto any collar D-ring, backpack strap, belt loop, or gear bag — anywhere you need a visible light. It also slides directly onto any 3/4” or 1” collar strap without the carabiner. Both options are tool-free and take seconds to attach or remove.
