The Zinger 6000 Deluxe is Zinger’s largest standard Deluxe crate — 28”W × 36”H × 44”L — built for the breeds that outgrow everything smaller. Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, Mastiffs, Boerboels, and Saint Bernards need a crate with real interior height and length, and the 6000 provides both. At this size, two people are required for vehicle loading, and the optional HD carry handles are not a convenience — they are a necessity. Built from the same aircraft-grade aluminum as every crate in the Zinger lineup — one third the weight of steel at comparable strength — with construction that does not wear out or need replacing. The Silver Hammertone powder coat is baked on inside and out. Stainless steel hardware throughout. This is a crate you buy once.

When sizing, add a comfort buffer above your dog’s actual standing height. The dog should be able to stand fully upright, turn around, and lie flat without being cramped. At this size range, the extra height and length of the 6000 over the 5500 makes a significant difference for the tallest, longest breeds.

What sets it apart

Ventilation. Three rows of vent holes run along the top and bottom of all non-door and non-barred sides. Aluminum dissipates heat faster than plastic or steel, and the open door design combined with the vent holes allows air to move freely through the crate. For large, heavy breeds that generate significant body heat, this is not a minor feature — proper ventilation during transport directly affects your dog’s safety and comfort.

Silver Hammertone powder coat. Applied inside and out at high temperature so it won’t chip or wear off. The interior coating matters — bare aluminum oxidizes over time and the residue transfers to your dog’s coat, leaving a grey discoloration. The interior powder coat prevents this entirely.

Lockable slam latch. Each door has a flush-mounted keyed latch. The crate can be locked when you’re away from it. The door is fully reversible — it can be configured to open left or right depending on how you load the vehicle or set up the crate.

Modular design. All Zinger crates in the same series can be stacked or coupled side by side. At this size, side-by-side configurations are more common than stacking, but both are supported.
