Zinger 5000 Professional - 40" Dog Crate

Reinforced escape-proof aluminum crate for large breeds — built for dogs that get out of everything else

The Zinger 5000 Professional is the escape-proof option for large breeds. Boxers, Akitas, Huskies, Dogo Argentinos — high-drive dogs in the 28” width range that will systematically test a crate door until they find a way out. The Professional door is reinforced with extra bars, welds, and structural bracing not present on the Deluxe, and includes a secondary lock on the door frame in addition to the standard keyed slam latch. Spring-loaded handles are standard. Two independent locking points must both be defeated to open the door.

Same footprint as the 5000 Deluxe — 28”W × 32”H × 40”L. Aircraft-grade aluminum construction, Silver Hammertone powder coat inside and out, stainless steel hardware, triple-row ventilation, full-length piano hinge reversible door, modular stacking, and airline travel capability with the optional kit. At approximately 47–49 lbs., two people are recommended for vehicle loading. The included spring-loaded handles make that significantly easier.

What sets it apart

Reinforced door. The Professional door has more bars, more welds, and more bracing than the Deluxe. Dogs that methodically work a door frame until something gives will find significantly less to work with on a Professional series door. This is a structural difference, not a cosmetic one.

Secondary lock. Two independent locking points on the door frame. The keyed slam latch is standard on every Zinger crate. The Professional adds a second lock on the frame itself. Both must be defeated to open the door.

Spring-loaded handles. Included standard on the Professional series. At this size and weight, handles are not optional — they are a practical necessity for loading a crate with a large dog inside.

Everything else. Same aircraft-grade aluminum construction, same Silver Hammertone powder coat inside and out, same stainless steel hardware, same triple-row ventilation, same reversible full-length piano hinge door. Built to last a lifetime.

Professional vs. Heavy Duty. The Professional adds door reinforcement and a secondary lock over the Deluxe. Zinger’s Heavy Duty series is their most robust construction and is designed for the most extreme escape artists.
