The majority of trainers who choose this model do so to save on storage space. This small winger can be stored along the back seat of most compact cars and SUVs. Its short length and lightweight design allows it to be carried into the field more easily than its larger cousins.
A remote Zinger Winger is a must for training by yourself. When combined with a remote release system, the Mini-Z becomes an important part of your dog training equipment that will quickly improve your dogs marking ability. In order for your dog to successfully compete on a consistent basis they must be trained on marks that have the same distance, arc and height of marks seen at your typical weekend Hunt Tests and Field Trials. More champion retrievers have been trained using Zinger Winger remote launchers than any other winger on the market.
The Mini-Z features our new heavy duty hinges, upgraded wire harness and offers multiple settings for adjusting the height and distance of the throw. It features our exclusive servo actuated Multi-Shot Sound™ release mechanism which fires 209, .22 and .32 caliber blanks. The .22 and .32 caliber ports give you the ability to shoot an extra loud report for the dog to hear. The .32 blanks are similar to a 12 gauge shot and are perfect for long distance Field Trial type marks. It's also important to remember that the winger can be operated without firing a blank for a silent launch.
Each Zinger Winger now comes standard with the new "Rolling Release" pouch bolt. This release bolt is designed to provide the winger with a smooth and flawless launch while eliminating any possible hang ups of your winger pouch and misfiring of the primers due to worn eyebolts and metal wear. No maintenance is required.
All Zinger Wingers will launch ducks, pheasants, pigeons, Dokkens, and bumpers as well as live flyers. The Mini-Z weighs 12 pounds and measures 1 1/2" x 25" x49" when folded flat. Its versatility allows the user to quickly choose direction, arc and height of the throw. An optional carrying case is available for this unit. Compatible with Dogtra or Tritronics Remote Electronics (Except Manual Version).

Replace bird boysOverall Mini-z was capable of throwing bumpers high and long! Very good quality, seems quite sturdy. The downside: the reset requires removing all the rubber bands, very time consuming especially on hot days. There were also weld marks that the factory did not clean up. Other than that, best thrower on the market.
High QualityOverall I purchased these because I was looking for an easily storable, effective remote launching system for training. The mini is the most compact winger on the market, and still does s great job launching bumpers and birds. Initial quality impression is fantastic, these were ready to use right out of the box, and even included adhesive Velcro so I didn't have to drill holes in the aluminium to attach electronics. I'm very pleased with my purchase and will likely purchase another zinger mini this year.

ZW mini-zOverall The mini -z is great. Launches bumpers & dokkens a long way for a smaller winger, haven't used ducks yet but am confident it will perform well. Quality product for sure!
Fantastic product!Overall This is my third ZW Mini and I absolutely love this winger. If you're training your dogs for hunting, hunt tests, or field trials, this winger is for you. Lightweight, easy to transport, and setup, and consistent throws. Combined with the Dogtra receiver, this is the best product you can have for training your retriever.
Great product!!Overall Perfect size can carry two wingers in one hand. They launch birds plenty high and are very easy to set up!
