Quick-turn rheostat dial with 10 stimulation levels and positive clicks — full no-look, one-handed operation. Four dedicated buttons: continuous, momentary, vibration, tone. Auxiliary mode controls beacon lights and BarkLimiter remotely. 3/4-mile range, 3-dog capable, user-replaceable batteries, 60-hour life. Transmitter is IPX7 waterproof and floats.

The Tri-Tronics dial. Four buttons. No menus. The Sport PRO is the e-collar that works the way you think.

The Garmin Sport PRO is the direct successor to the Tri-Tronics Sport Basic G3 — one of the best-selling e-collars ever made — and it takes everything that made the original a favorite among both professionals and first-time owners and builds on it. The interface is the same intuitive dial-and-button layout that Tri-Tronics made famous: a quick-turn rheostat dial with positive, audible clicks so you can change stimulation levels by feel without ever looking down. Four buttons give you immediate access to continuous stimulation, momentary stimulation, vibration, and tone. Rotate the dial to the auxiliary position and those same two small buttons take on a second function: one controls the beacon lights on the collar, the other controls the BarkLimiter — both remotely, from the handheld. The collar does not need to be touched once it’s on the dog.

The Sport PRO supports up to three dogs from a single handheld. A three-position toggle switch near the top of the transmitter face selects between dogs — black, blue, and red — matching the collar color of each PT 10 dog device. Switching between dogs in the field is a single thumb movement. Range is ¾ mile, and the BarkLimiter uses AutoRise technology, which automatically escalates correction levels if nuisance barking continues, then resets. Both functions can be toggled on and off from the handheld without touching the collar.

The transmitter is IPX7 waterproof and floats — useful if it ends up in the water at a duck blind or during a creek crossing. The PT 10 collar is rated to 1 ATM (10 meters), handling full submersion without issue. Both units run on user-replaceable lithium-ion batteries rated at approximately 60 hours per charge. LED battery indicators on both the handheld and the collar give you green, amber, and red status at a glance.

Compatibility note: The Sport PRO uses PT series collar devices (PT 5, PT 6, PT 10) and is not compatible with Tri-Tronics G2/G3 EXP collars or any other Garmin training collar line. If you’re upgrading from an older Tri-Tronics system, the collars do not cross over — only the familiar dial interface carries over.

For hunters who need GPS tracking in addition to remote training, the Sport PRO handheld includes a built-in spine mount for Garmin accessories. For those needing more stimulation precision or a wider training range, see the Garmin Pro 550 Plus.

    Garmin is a great unit
This is a very good product it replaced a Garmin unit that was 11 years old.

    Exactly what I wanted
This collar works great. It super easy to use with one hand. I have been using it for a few days now while hiking and mountain biking with the dog. I really like that the shock isn't too strong but the dog immediately reacts to it. I've only had to give him a few shocks and he is learning suoer quickly. The only thing I can recommend is that you buy some type of clip to attach the remote too. I really like the backpack clip and belt clip.

    Best e-collar on the market
This collar is amazing. The range is far and that’s just what we need. Very effective too. The flashlight is a Great option!

    Excellent
Huskies are notoriously stubborn and mine is no different. I have tried various e-collars and fencing for my dog. The Sport Pro e-collar is the only one that she responds to. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors with their pet.

    Excellent Training Tool
My wife and I purchased this for our Vizsla and have been very pleased with the functionality of the collar and results. As with any training tool, it's all about taking the time to introduce to your dog(s) properly. The range and performance are just as advertised and recharging both units is easy. Would highly recommend!

    very satisfied
Ive gone through a couple of pet store training collars that didn't hold up well over time; reception was not as good as rated on the box. This collar and control are durable and responsive working as advertised; easy to switch between 2 dogs.

    Great
I have purchased many "waterproof" and "long range" collars before, and sadly been let down with all of them. With this collar my dog can spend as much time as she wants running through creeks and I have no problems with the collar responding to my controls. Highly recommend this collar, well worth the money.

    Excellent
Performs all the functions as described in the manual. The bark-limiter function also works really well with out German Shepard. It's in no way cruel and the dog has quickly learned to bark a few times and then quit. He's not been fully silenced, which is good, so he still can voice an alert when a car pulls up outside etc. As a consequence of controlling his excessive barking, the stress level in our household is much reduced.

    Works great!
This product works as advertised. We go camping a lot and always put glow sticks on our dogs at night so we know where they are, so the beacon light works wonderful instead of using glow sticks. The collar fits well on our 40lb dog and isn't too bulky or heavy for her.

    Perfect
This is a great training tool for my large dog. The vibrate and tone features are mainly all I use and rarely ever have to use the shock feature because he responds so well to the others....but it's nice to know I have that option if I need it. Collar and remote seem very durable and it has great range. My dog really likes the light feature too when going outside at night. I don't use the bark control feature so I am not able to comment on the effectiveness. Overall, great product and I would hands down purchase this again or another collar to pair with the single remote if I were to get another dog.
