Add another dog to your Classic In-Ground Fence™

The PetSafe® Classic In-Ground Fence™ system supports an unlimited number of dogs — you just need a collar for each one. This is the same receiver collar that ships with the Classic In-Ground Fence™ kit, sold separately so you can expand the system without buying a second transmitter or another spool of wire. One transmitter, one buried wire loop, as many collars as you have dogs.

This collar is also the right choice if you need a replacement for a lost or damaged collar, or if you want a spare kept charged and ready to swap in.

Compatibility: This collar works exclusively with the Classic In-Ground Fence™ system. It is not cross-compatible with PetSafe®’s Stubborn Dog, YardMax, or Basic In-Ground Fence systems. If you’re not sure which system you have, check the model number on your transmitter.

Collar specs

The collar has eight operating modes. Level 1 is tone and vibration — useful during initial boundary training and for dogs that are hard of hearing. Levels 2 through 8 are adjustable static correction; dial up or down based on your dog’s temperament. The collar is fully waterproof and charges via USB in 2–3 hours, with battery life up to 3 weeks per charge. Indicator lights show battery status so you’re not guessing when it needs a charge. Short and long contact points are included to match your dog’s coat.

Fit the collar snugly enough that you can slide two fingers underneath the strap — contact points must touch skin to work. Adjusts to fit neck sizes 6 to 26 inches. For dogs 5 pounds and up, at least 6 months old.

Pawz Away® Pet Barrier compatible

Like the collar that comes with the full kit, this receiver is compatible with all PetSafe® Pawz Away® Pet Barriers (sold separately). If you use indoor or outdoor Pawz Away® units to keep your dogs out of specific areas inside the house, each dog’s collar works with those units as well — no additional collar needed.
