The Dogtra EDGE is built for professional trainers and serious handlers who need precise output control, long range, and the ability to run multiple dogs off one transmitter. The tube-shaped transmitter fits naturally in the hand for one-handed operation — critical when you’re managing dogs in the field without being able to look down at the remote.
The defining feature of the EDGE is the interchangeable stimulation dial. The system ships with both a Rheostat dial (smooth, continuous adjustment from 0–127 levels) and a Selector dial (8 distinct click positions for repeatable, consistent corrections). Swap between them depending on your training style — the rheostat for fine-tuning a dog’s threshold, the selector when you need to know exactly what level you’re on without looking. No other collar in this price range gives you both in one system.
The receiver has four color-selectable LED locate lights (white, red, blue, green) that correspond to the button colors on the transmitter. In low light or darkness, you can tell at a glance which dog you’re looking at and which button controls it. Lights can be set to solid or flashing. Contact points are 5/8” stainless steel standard, with an included extension kit to convert to 3/4” for dogs with thick or long coats. Batteries are replaceable — not built-in — and charge fully in 2 hours. IPX9K waterproof rating on both transmitter and receiver.
Expandable to 4 dogs. Add up to three additional EDGE receivers to this transmitter.
