The Hunt Tester G5 is the top of the Zinger Winger lineup. 120 feet on a duck. 180 feet on a bumper. The arc and airtime on a full-power throw is genuinely enough to challenge the steadiest retrievers — one SDP customer who bought two of them within three weeks of each other described it as completely exceeding his expectations. Another who trains with it consistently said the distance and height left his dog "excited every time he sees me put it in the truck." If you've trained to the point where the Field Trialer isn't challenging enough, or you need to replicate the kind of marks seen at master hunter or open field trial level, this is the launcher.

The G5 is a refined version of the previous Hunt Tester — Zinger reduced the overall folded height from 72 inches to 69 inches, which shrinks the shipping box and makes it easier to fit in smaller vehicles, while modifying the rubber tubing length to maintain the same full throwing power. At 18 lbs. it's the heaviest in the lineup and will need a full-size truck bed or cargo area to transport. Three sets of anchor hooks give you multiple height and distance settings so you can vary mark difficulty within a single training session. Heavy-duty rubber tubing and hinges are standard throughout.

The Multi-Shot Sound™ servo-actuated mechanism fires 209, .22, or .32 caliber blanks at the instant of launch. The .32 blank produces a report comparable to a 12-gauge shot — the right choice for field trial-distance marks where the dog needs to hear the gun clearly over distance. Rolling Release™ pouch bolt comes standard. Silent launch available when needed. The Hunt Tester launches ducks, pheasants, pigeons, Dokkens, bumpers, and live flyers.
