I have two labs that I take hunting with me, and for my youngest one, this collar has been a godsend. I bought an extra collar for the unit, and I can control both from my single handheld unit. I rarely have to use the collar on my oldest lab, but my younger one is a bit more stubborn, and a bit of a rebellious wild child. After training her on a leash for basic commands, I was able to switch to this collar for long range training of the basic commands. Being able to nick from a distance grabbed her attention when I first started, and pairing the command with it enabled her to really get the hang of it. From there, I moved her to the vibration feature. I am confidant in her ability to listen to me every time. I can't wait to take her out on a hunt this season!
