Rechargeable bark collar with accelerometer detection and three correction modes
The Garmin BarkLimiter Deluxe is built on Tri-Tronics dog training technology and uses micro electro-mechanical acceleration sensors to detect bark signals through throat vibration. Because the collar reads vibration from your dog’s throat rather than ambient sound, it is not triggered by other dogs barking, passing vehicles, or environmental noise. The collar is suitable for all breeds and coat types, and comes ready to use out of the box — no setup required.
Three correction modes give you options depending on your dog’s temperament and how much hands-on control you want. Autorise is the default and requires no adjustment — the collar finds the effective correction level on its own. Manual gives you a fixed level you set yourself. Vibration Only delivers a non-static correction for dogs where you want to start without stimulation. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts approximately 3 months per charge. Waterproof to IPX7 — 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. For dogs 8 lbs. and up.
How Autorise works
Autorise is preset at the factory and active the moment you put the collar on. When a bark is detected, correction starts at level 1 and rises with each subsequent bark until the dog stops. After a prolonged period of quiet, the collar resets itself to two levels below the highest level it reached and begins rising again if barking resumes. This means the collar is always working near the effective threshold for your individual dog rather than starting from scratch each time. For most owners this is the only mode they’ll ever need.
The built-in Bark Odometer counts corrections while the collar is in use. Switch to Manual mode and use the odometer to evaluate whether your selected level is actually working — if the count stays high across sessions, the level needs adjustment. If it drops, the collar is doing its job.
IPX7 waterproof — not rated for swimming. The BarkLimiter Deluxe can be worn in rain and through wet conditions without issue. Garmin specifies it is not rated for swimming — remove the collar before your dog enters a pool, lake, or any situation involving prolonged submersion.

- Awesome ProductBy:Gerald Ubel
I have a 7 yr. old GoldenDoodle that has been a barker since she was a puppy. It got to be so frustrating when she wqent outside. Bark, bark, bark, bark, never ceasing. The Garmin Bark Limiter Deluxe stopped that nauseating within 3 days. Wonderful product, works great in our vehicle (if see see's another dog) as well as running around outside while going potty. We have tried others, to no avail, this product WORKS! (10/13/2024)- Great By:Marlana
Wonderful product! My home is much calmer and quiet. My only concern is that ever now an again it will correct our dogs when they are not doing anything, although it is rare. (6/5/2024)- It really worksBy:AARON LARKIN
You must be vocal with your dog. This device is a trainer. Use it like as if your a teenager being put in time out. Be verbal and reward the dog for listening to you. (12/5/2017)- Garrmin Tri Tronics Bark Limiter CollarBy:Debbie Bernardo
We have been using this collar for a couple of weeks now so I am not entirely certain we have made up our mind on this product. We have had it on Automatic mode, which still allows the dog to bark and then increases in intensity. I have taken it off the automatic mode this week. What we really like about the product is the fact that we can charge it and not buy the expensive batteries which were necessary in the other models we had purchased previously. (4/12/2017)- Love this collarBy:Katie Finkle
I have tried several bark collars. This is by far the best. I love that there are lots of different settings. I have one dog that is very sensitive so I have set his collar to "vibrate". Another dog that needs more correction so set hers to static correction level 2. Can't go wrong with this collar! (2/20/2017)- so far so goodBy:Kazuki Hagihara
You should start vibration. If it doesn't work, you should use 1 and increase until your dog stopped barking. You should not use A (adjustable) at first, which is too strong. (7/9/2015)- Nice upgrade for my old collarBy:Michael Brick
I use to have the Tri tronics bark limiter G3 version of this collar until it got damaged. I picked up Garmin's new version as a replacement and it has proven to be equally as effective in keeping my dog from barking all day and night. We're very pleased with it. The new autorise feature is pretty awesome too. Fast shipping. Thanks guys. (5/28/2013)- Stopped my shepard in no timeBy:Neil Simmons
Obviously, I could not get my new German Shepard rescue to stop barking. My neighbors began complaining about the obsessive noise, which was embarrassing to deal with. I picked up this collar and she stopped barking in a week and a half! It's very simple to use and the autorise feature was great for letting her set her own stimulation level. (5/15/2013)- Would not recharge.By:Joshua Richardson
This collar lasted about two days, before it broke completely. Sporting Dog Pro was great in helping me exchange it for the Petsafe rechargeable bark collar. Thanks, guys. (5/2/2013)
