A dummy that lands at your feet tells a dog nothing about what it means to mark a bird. The DT Systems Super Pro changes that. It fires a Feather-Weight launcher dummy using a .22 caliber blank, sending it into the air while producing a sharp gunshot report — combining the sound of the shot with the flight of the mark in a single action. That’s the closest simulation of a real hunting scenario you can create with one person and no birds.

The launcher is handheld and fully adjustable. Change the flight angle to put the dummy where you need it, and choose from low, medium, or high power loads to dial in the distance — from close-in puppy work to marks pushing 70 yards. It’s a straightforward tool to use, easy to maintain, and built from cast and solid aluminum that holds up to field conditions without rusting.

Built better than a standard launcher

Where cheaper launchers use a single firing port and produce significant kickback, the Super Pro uses dual firing ports for a more balanced, farther, and more consistent launch every time. Dual exhaust holes greatly reduce recoil, making it comfortable to use for extended sessions. The stainless steel lined firing mechanism is built for safety and long-term reliability, and the self-contained firing pin assembly removes for cleaning — which means it stays consistent and doesn’t foul up after a season of use. A built-in shell extractor clears spent blanks cleanly without tools.

The Feather-Weight dummy

The kit includes one white Feather-Weight launcher dummy — the same dummy we sell separately. The outer wrap is 1000 denier Cordura nylon, water-repellent coated to resist mold and hold game scent. The full stainless steel core gives it consistent flight characteristics that cheap plastic-core launcher dummies can’t match. You can choose white or orange when ordering — additional dummies are available in our accessories section.

Power loads not included. The Super Pro fires standard .22 caliber crimp blanks. We carry all three power levels: low (green) — ~50 yards, medium (yellow) — ~60 yards, and high (red) — ~70 yards. Start with green for young dogs, yellow for most training sessions.
