Independent dual-dial control for two pointing dogs — training and beeper in one system
The T&B Dual takes the single-body train-and-beeper design of the 2700T&B and builds it into a 2-dog system with completely independent dial and button sets for each dog. Where the 2702T&B requires toggling between dogs to switch stimulation levels, the T&B Dual puts a separate rheostat dial and dedicated buttons for Dog 1 on one side of the transmitter and a separate rheostat dial and dedicated buttons for Dog 2 on the other. Dog 1’s level stays where you set it. Dog 2’s level stays where you set it. When you need to correct or cue either dog, the right dial and buttons are always there without adjustment. For hunters running a brace of pointing dogs at different working levels, that independence is what makes the T&B Dual worth the step up from the 2702.
The beeper system and accelerometer
Each receiver carries the same single-body downward-facing beeper horn found in the 2700T&B — integrated directly into the collar, not a separate attachment. The beeper uses an accelerometer sensor to distinguish running from pointing and drives three modes: Run & Point, Point Only, and Locate. In Run & Point mode the beeper sounds on a cadence while the dog is moving and shifts when the dog locks up. Point Only holds the beeper silent while the dog runs and sounds only when it stops. Locate is always available from the transmitter regardless of which mode is active. Beeper audible range is approximately a quarter mile.
Beeper pitch is adjustable from the transmitter: low pitch delivers a double beep in Run & Point and Point Only modes; high pitch delivers a clear single beep. Both dogs can be set to different pitches, giving you an additional way to identify which dog is on point by ear. The OLED screen on the transmitter is dimmable — pull it back in low-light situations to preserve your night vision between fields.
127 levels, HPP vibration, 1.5-mile range
Training capability runs a full 127-level rheostat dial per dog — smooth, continuous adjustment from low to high output without stepping through discrete levels. Nick and Constant stimulation are both available alongside HPP (High Performance Pager) vibration as a non-stimulating option and audible tone. Low-to-high output range covers soft-tempered pointing breeds through more driven dogs on the same transmitter. Range is 1.5 miles, half a mile more than the 2700T&B and 2702T&B — useful for big-running setters and pointers in open prairie or large field trial setups where the standard 1-mile system runs short. Both transmitter and receivers carry IPX9K waterproof ratings. The 2-hour rapid charge batteries are lithium polymer. Minimum dog size is 35 lbs.
T&B Dual vs. 2702T&B: The 2702T&B is a 2-dog system with a single dial that you toggle between dogs — set a level, toggle, reset for Dog 2. The T&B Dual gives each dog its own independent dial and button set. No toggling, no resetting. If you run two dogs at different working levels and want both always dialed in simultaneously, the T&B Dual is the right system. The 2702T&B is the better value if you run two dogs at similar levels or prefer a simpler transmitter.

- satisfied with a quality productBy:Jason Smaglinski
I only have been using my new collar for a couple of weeks but I'm impressed by the quality of the collar and functionality of it. Wrangling two bird brains for years with lower-quality shock and beeper collar was a lot more work toggling through the applications. This wasn't cheap, but I'm glad I spent the money. It makes hunting a little more enjoyable.
Only reason I didn't give it a five, is that I'm not sure how long it holds up. (11/21/2023)
