One of the larger needs expressed by many is the ability to manage multiple dogs at once. This could be either from a professional training standpoint, where you're working several dogs at once, or from packing hounds during the hunting seasons. Whichever the case, you don't want to fill your pockets with transmitters;you need a multi-dog collar system that allows you to quickly and effectively switch from one dog to another. Keep in mind that some dogs need different levels of stimulation than others. When choosing a new remote collar system, you may want to note that some transmitters can actually save a preset stim level for a certain receiver. This may keep you from fumbling a bit too much while switching back and forth, and allow you to deliver the correction at the right time. You can also color code your receiver collars to help you match up to the right dog, if you can see them of course, although most hound hunters can recognize one dogs voice from another. Don't forget about the range either. Beagles, Blueticks, and Plots can cover a lot of ground. And if tracking is the issue, the Garman Astro 320 with DC-40 can track up to 10 dogs at once!
